Three day professional development training co-presented by Dr David Moore and Dr Alikki Vernon

This training involves 3 days of professional development for those practicing or interested to practice in the field of conflict transformation. The facilitation format known as Conferencing is the focus of the training. This process is suitable for addressing significant conflict within a group.

Participants will have an opportunity to:

  • discuss the formal techniques or processes for dealing with challenging situations in the justice system, workplace or community;
  • consider several types of situations where dispute handling or conflict management techniques are required, and
  • acquire knowledge and facilitation skills useful for their workplace or other areas of professional practice.
This training meets the Best Practice Standards developed by the Victorian Association of Restorative Justice (VARJ) for training in the Conference facilitation.

La Trobe University will provide certificates to participants who complete the training.

The fee is $1500 for three days. Reduced rates are available for group bookings.
