This workshop provides 3 days of training for professionals interested in how to facilitate a group conference, by applying the foundational theory and skills described in detail in the book Setting Relations Right in Restorative Practice.

The workshop is also relevant for program managers, policy-makers and evaluators involved with programs that provide restorative practices and relationship management in justice, health and education systems, and in programs that work restoratively with families, work units, residential &/or other communities.

The May 2024 workshop is now fully subscribed. The early November workshop is currently the third and last Transforming Conflict into Cooperation workshop scheduled for Melbourne in 2024.

VIRTUAL WORKSHOP: Introduction to Restorative Practice in Schools

~ Understanding the foundations of restorative practice in schools

~ What it means to have a restorative mindset

~ Neuro-scientific and psychological foundations of restorative approaches

~ Using restorative language, dialogue, & processes to repair harm in a range of settings

Suitable for:  primary and secondary educators and other professionals working with students in a school setting looking to develop the skills required to successfully build and maintain classroom community.
